3/27/2003 The cost of RMPA has been set and final
arangment have been made. Remember for all those who are going
we need to arrive at the Sheraton Denver Tech Center, no later
than 4pm to keep our reservation. All orders for graduation
merchandise for PSI CHI members should be in to Stacy by this
time, remember we need to order it as a group, you can not
order it as a individual. While most of us are in Denver for
RMPA, our President and Vice-President will be doing some
painting at the Miranda House, if you have some time on Sunday
April 13th in the morning let them know if you could help
out...any help is always appreciated. On a final note, Peer
Advising went well despite this being our first time doing
it. We where able to help our fellow classmates with some
good sceduleing decisions, while gaining some good praise
and repore with the Psychology department faculty...Thank
you Dr. Becker for the idea!
2/13/2003 To help the Psychology faculty here at Mesa,
the Psychology Club is hosting peer scedule adviseing for
all freshmen to juniors. Advisors will be in the Psyc. pod
located in the bach of the Behavioral Sciences offices of
Lowell Heiny Hall. All are incouraged to sign up and help.
Also Psych/Psi Chi members are needed to help cleen up the
Psyc. pod over spring break, if you can help please talk to
one of the officers....there will be free PIZZA!
2/20/2003 We would like to see as many people, especially
those who are Psi Chi and Psychology club members, to bring
something we can have a raffel or silent auction with for
our spring fund raiser. We also will start a program to log
your hours you spend helping the club, school and community
in order to give you a chance at community service hours,
as well as your commitment to the club for purposes of event
reimbursement. In other words the more you do for your club
the less if any money you have to pay to attend events like
RMPA.
2/10/2003 Just a reminder...All RMPA registration
froms are due with the 35$ registration fee by the next meeting
on the 13th. See Robyn with any questions.
Psychology Club/Psy Chi needs your help to help our community.
The Miranda House which serves as a half way house for adolescent
girls need some work done now that the city has finished renovations
on the building. We need your help to do some painting and
hanging of trim on the building. This is a wonderful opporturnity
to help our communit as well as gain some community service
hours. Please contact an officer for more information, for
we want this to be an ongoing project.
